Steve’s work ethic and financial management philosophy developed at an early age. As a young man, he paid his way through college by mowing lawns, throwing newspapers and working in commercial fishing. He graduated from the University of Florida with his BSBA in economics with no debt.

Steve started his financial services career in 1981 after graduating from the account executive training program at Dean Witter, where he became a leading equity and option trader. He served as vice president for two wire house firms before joining an international business consulting group. He also worked for two major banks and served as a top-secret master planner for a defense contractor.

He resigned from the large wire house firm in late 1987, starting his own estate and financial planning practice. During that time, he created a state-approved adult continuing education program and taught financial planning at local community colleges.

After settling in the North Palm Beach area in the mid-1990s, Steve launched a successful internet service provider. In 2008, he came out of retirement to serve as a financial planner and analyst with Lockheed Martin. Four years later, he founded GA Advisors, LLC, dedicated to providing sound retirement and financial advice for his clients.

Steve is a licensed life and health insurance agent and has passed the Series 65 securities exam. He has also completed a comprehensive training program for securities arbitration and is a member of the FINRA board of arbitrators.

Steve and his wife, Jodylynne, have two adult children and one grandchild. He is an active member of Calvary Chapel Jupiter church and has been known to catch a few fish in his life. He’s also an avid golfer who can claim one hole-in-one (166 yards) on his record.
